A little about who I am

I have always felt a strong pull to Asia, and more particularly, to China. Truly, I can not explain it, but it fascinates me. I have always been an independent spirit and an "adventuress". Even as a child, I would go off on big adventures. I love meeting new people and experiencing fresh opportunities. I am always up to a challenge and have enjoyed pushing myself out of my comfort zone. My life has provided for me the great fortune of being able to travel to many wonderful destinations throughout the world and when this opportunity was presented to me to move to China - I jumped at it.

I am an independent film maker and my primary focus is women in emerging economies. The creation of documentary and lifestyle programming with a focus on social entrepreneurship is very important to me.

I believe that change begins with one person. The purpose of my work is to create documentary films and television that provide viewers with an informative and uplifting experience which hopefully in turn will encourage the viewer to see the world in a different way. The films have been created with a purpose to facilitate and inspire change.
